AMERICAN STANDARD

Before American Standard, there was the Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Company. It was founded in 1875, and merged with several other small plumbing manufacturers in 1899 to form the Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Company. American Standard Brands was formed in February 2008 from the merger of three companies: American Standard Americas, Crane Plumbing, and Eljer. Making life healthier, safer and more beautiful at home, at work, around town and throughout the world ― that is the vision of American Standard.
